It’s Friday folks, and this one’s a doozy. That’s right, it’s the Friday before the 2025 MLB Draft! The Mariners have spent the past few years crushing the draft, particularly their higher picks. Logan Gilbert, George Kirby, Cal Raleigh, Bryan Woo, Bryce Miller, Cole Young, Emerson Hancock, Logan Evans and Ben Williamson are all current big leaguers drafted and developed by your Seattle Mariners.
As someone once said: “Wow!”
Let’s get Light Battin’!
With such a robust draft legacy, and the Mariners on the cusp of their long-planned 2028 talent crest, Sunday represents a potentially pivotal day in franchise history. The players responsible for winning 85 games and the second Wild Card over the next decade are out there, and it’s up to the front office to find them.
We’ve gone all out here at Light Bat HQ, with an expansive Big Board, and a few in-depth, proprietary scouting reports of what we think represent some of the draft’s most intriguing prospects. We’ve really tried to do the work for you this year, so you can go into the draft informed.
With that out of the way, let’s get to the draft board. These are, in our opinion, the top 145 prospects for the 2025 MLB Draft.
